WHEW MADE IT TO FRIDAY!!

THANK YOU TO THOSE WHO HAVE DONATED TO OUR FSP THIS WEEK!!! YES, YOU....THANK YOU!!!!!

Friends, i have made it to the end of a CRAZY two weeks!!! We after some drama were able to carry out all the last minute medical requests, collected all the paperwork we needed, and have visited the Secretary of State's office twice this week.  GREAT NEWS is that we have everything we need to travel...just packing up bags, making a list for last minute little items needed, but most importantly all the document chasing has been COMPLETED!!! WHEW!! I can't believe how the time flew!!!

We received an email from our in country facilitator today reminding us to pack EXTRA warm clothing...she said it has been -19 degrees and it really feels like -29 degrees with the windchill, although mentioned that when we arrive it will have hopefully warmed up to a balmy -10 degrees!!! :) BRRRR...I have heard that all over Eastern Europe this cold weather has been just terrible and causing power outages and such. Oh I just pray that our sweet girl's orphanage is staying WARM!! It pains me to think of her being cold. :(

Thank you for all who have prayed for us every step of this journey...they have carried us through...please continue to pray for us as we prepare to leave, travel around the world, and meet our little for the first time!! Please also pray for our sweet boy, Rowdy, who my mom will be caring for while we are away...I have no doubt they are just going to have the BEST time...He loves his Gma Cici!!

WOW, I am not sure when it is going to hit me that we are flying around the world in a matter of days and I am still BLOWN AWAY that the Lord has beautifully orchestrated our lives to bring us to this incredible moment, meeting our daughter! I almost felt like this moment was never going to happen...I was getting REALLY good at the patient waiting...and we are here...

WE

ARE

FINALLY

HERE!

Erika,
Our family will be praying for you as you travel. Little "Mary" captured our hearts from the moment we saw her buried deep down in the Reece's Rainbow website. We inquired about her and my children were so happy to donate their allowances for her first donation. Lots of shouts for joy when you decided to bring her home and we will be following your journey and keeping you in our daily prayers.
Safe travels!
Julie

Whoo hoo! Take time to soak it all in...even the cold. Take tons of pics, and win them over with your photo ready smile. It's a good thing.

Oh, praising the Lord for the already answered prayers! So glad you were able to get those papers notarized and ready to go. So excited and anxious and happy and nervous and thrilled for you! This is a once in a lifetime experience--meeting your second baby! Even if things don't go as you pictured, I pray that it will be precious and that God's hand will be evident in every little detail. Praying for you!
