I wanted to thank EVERYONE who has donated their time, prayers, $$ to help our family and assist in bringing Rush home. We are overwhelmed by the love and support of our friends, family, and even strangers! I cry every time i check our FSP and see that the funds keeps rising. I am so thankful and amazed for the generous amount of items that people have donated for our garage sale, it is OVERFLOWING!! Thank you to my friends who are willing to take time away from their families and lives to sit in a warehouse with tags and markers and tag hundreds of items. Lance and I couldn't do it without you, and we feel so blessed!!
I have been feeling SO overwhelmed this last week with the forever long to do list of things to get done before our homestudy and garage sale. I was reminded today in my morning bible study that I can't do it all on my own and shouldn't. It said this:
"The Enemy's voice says, "You don't have enough. You are not able. You can't." The voice of the Holy Spirit says, "I have enough. I am able through you. I can!" God wants us to see the wondrous things He will accomplish in us. Don't be fearful about the hard road He may ask you to take. Be encouraged and excited about seeing His divine, supernatural activity in and through you."
I needed to hear that this morning, because all I have been saying all week, is "I don't have enough time or energy, I am not able to get everything done, I can't..." I feel rejuvenated! I am not capable, but the Lord is SOOOO capable. I am sure this is first of MANY times the Lord will have to remind me he is in control.
I have been finding myself just staring at her photo all day long, day dreaming of what it will be like to meet her, how much will she have changed since that photo. What will she think of us? I just want to hold my daughter. I am PRAYING so hard to be able to go visit her before the end of the year. I am praying that specific prayer.
We are doing all of this for you Rush, every appointment, every piece of paperwork that needs to be gathered, all our prayers, are for you my sweet daughter. I have dreamed of you since before I knew you. We are fighting for you everyday...hold on just a little longer love, we are on our way to bring you home! I love you so much.....

I just found your blog on RR and have to tell you, that picture of "Mary" just jumped off the page at me! Those eyes are so gorgeous! I am normally not awake in the middle of the night, but my daughter is in Russia and I just learned that the judge granted their adoption of another RR angel who will be known as Zebadiah, which means "gift from God." My Jamie has felt overwhelmed many times but held firmly to her Savior who led them each step of the way. I will be praying for your family and beautiful Rush. I invite you to read Jamie's "The Decision" blog post today: http://hislead.blogspot.com/2011/08/decision.html . BE ENCOURAGED!!!
