We have been able to get all our blood work back in RECORD time, and the letters are at the doctor's office are waiting and all ready to be notarized! I will pick them up tomorrow afternoon. This afternoon I will swing by to pick up the films from our chest x-rays which we will also need to hand carry with us. So the craziness of squeezing in all these medical appointments unexpectedly, the Lord has gone before us and laid it out in perfect harmony! HE IS SO GOOD!!
This weekend I was able to get all the minor shopping out of the way and so i feel GREAT about where we are in the preparedness and packing department! We are packing light since we will only be in country for 4 days...that doesn't really require much!!
Eastern Europe is experiencing a COLD SPELL...to an already typically VERY COLD winter...um...yeah...just checked my weather app and its a WHOPPING 0 degrees!!! The high on Thursday you ask? Oh yes.... MINUS 6 degrees, yes i said the HIGH!! :) Good thing I grew up in an area that would experience winters this cold!! We are prepared to be COOLLLLLDDDD....BBBRRRRRRR! :) Luckily our girl is inside and we are traveling to see HER and not really going to have time this trip to do any sight seeing. So shuffling from the hotel to a car, a car into a building...then back to the car and back into the hotel, shouldn't be TOO bad.
What an adventure we are on!!! SOMEONE PINCH ME!!! I can't believe we are finally at this point in our journey!! You work months and months and collect and fill out more paperwork than you can EVEN imagine...and I have followed so many families through Reece's Rainbow, I have watched them meet their child/children and DREAMED of what it will be like to meet our little girl...and here we are!! PACKING...PLANNING...ITS OUR TURN!! I still am trying to wrap my brain around the fact that we will be meeting a little person, OUR child...I can't wait to meet my daughter...

Wow--what an answer to prayer (I know MANY people who have been praying since last Monday for things to move smoothly). Just praying now for the remaining "loose ends" to tie up neatly by Thursday, so you at least have a day or two to relax and get excited about your trip. Can't wait to get Rowdy all to myself next week--your loss is my gain! THANK YOU!!

Just an advice - in this weather appartments and otels can get extremely cold and shortages with heat and electricity happen very often!
