Rush had a prayer warrior months before we found her, who was committed to praying for her everyday. She would pray for her safety and health and pray that her family, wherever they might be, would be moved to find her...so that she would have a beautiful hope for the future. Rush's prayer warrior was Sheri. Sheri and her family diligently started praying for her in January. This was the month that the Lord started tugging my heart down the road of adoption. Sheri's prayers were working...my heart was being stirred, unsettled. I am so thankful for her willingness to pray for our family and care so much about our little girl.
Sheri had asked if she could host a giveaway on her blog to help with Rush's adoption expenses. We of course were excited and so grateful! You made me cry...thanks for your kind words-the Lord drew me to that precious baby way down on the list with no donation button and seemingly no one noticing her. I am sooooo grateful to the LORD that we can be a part of her story and yours! She is such a beautiful child and I pray the Lord will bring folks to help support this very worthwhile walk of faith you are on!
I am excited to watch your journey to your daughter. I am also starting an adoption journey and am in the need of some support. I would love if you would be willing to follow along and watch our story unfold.
