Last night I mailed off our registration dossier to our agency!!!! WOW! Hope to hear that they received it sometime today...to be honest I have no idea what happens with it next! :) I will have to be informed when I hear it arrived. Pray that everything is just as it should be and that we won't have to gather or redo any additional paperwork!
I know it has to be translated, which can take some time, maybe a week or two?? And then sent on to her country. for processing and we just wait for a travel date to go see our sweet sweet girl!
I am checking the mailbox everyday with the anticipation that our biometrics appt from USCIS will be waiting for me...so far, no luck. Hoping that it will be in the mail today or tomorrow! As soon as we get that appointment (which could be a few weeks out) we are able to attempt a walk-in at any time. This is another little gem of information that I wouldn't have known had I not been surrounded by a WONDERFUL group of people who are also in this process on all ends of the spectrum....that's been a HUGE blessing.
Since today is going to be a crazy almost summer like day at 85 degrees...I am going to take the opportunity to spray paint a few of the things I have collected for Rush's room...so we can start putting it all together!!! SOOOO excited!!!
I am looking forward to the blessed start of my weekend with my sweet Rowdy on this beautiful day!!

You must be so relieved to be done with the "pushing paper" part for awhile and now you get to do the fun part of putting a little girl's room together :). This Gma can't wait until we know her clothing/shoe size--then let the serious shopping begin!!

Miss Nealy!! I have thought of you often too!!! Read our most recent update!!! EEEEKKK! I was instructed in June to close our blog for a period of time, and so we can now shout it from the rooftops that we traveled for court Oct 2, passed, and we leave in TWO DAYS TO PICK UP OUR DAUGHTER!!!!
